The capital of the Rhône department is determined by decree of the Conseil d’Etat, after consultation with the Rhône departmental council and the municipal council of the commune concerned. Article L. 3112-2 applies to the transfer of this administrative centre.
Le chef-lieu du département du Rhône est fixé par décret en Conseil d’Etat, après consultation du conseil départemental du Rhône et du conseil municipal de la commune intéressée. L’article L. 3112-2 est applicable au transfert de ce chef-lieu.
