Article L4021-2 of the French Public Health Code

An order of the ministers responsible for health and social security, and of the minister for defence in the case of professionals in the armed forces health service, defines the priority multiannual guidelines for continuing professional development. These guidelines include:

1° Guidelines defined by profession or speciality on the basis of proposals from the national professional councils or, in the absence of national professional councils, from representatives of the profession or speciality;

2° Guidelines within the framework of national health policy;

3° Guidelines resulting from the dialogue between the various agreements covered by articles L. 162-1-13, L. 162-5, L. 162-9, L. 162-12-2, L. 162-12-9, L. 162-14, L. 162-14-1, L. 162-16-1 and L. 162-32-1 of the Social Security Code.

Un arrêté des ministres chargés de la santé et de la sécurité sociale, et du ministre de la défense pour les professionnels du service de santé des armées, définit les orientations pluriannuelles prioritaires de développement professionnel continu. Ces orientations comportent :

1° Des orientations définies par profession ou par spécialité sur la base des propositions des conseils nationaux professionnels ou, en l’absence de conseils nationaux professionnels, des représentants de la profession ou de la spécialité ;

2° Des orientations s’inscrivant dans le cadre de la politique nationale de santé ;

3° Des orientations issues du dialogue conventionnel relevant des articles L. 162-1-13, L. 162-5, L. 162-9, L. 162-12-2, L. 162-12-9, L. 162-14, L. 162-14-1, L. 162-16-1 et L. 162-32-1 du code de la sécurité sociale.
