The Institute’s revenue is made up of all fees collected in respect of industrial property and the national register of companies, up to the ceiling provided for in I of Article 46 of Finance Act 2011-1977 of 28 December 2011 for 2012.
The portion of the fees collected by the Institute for the maintenance in force of European patents paid to the organisation created by Article 4 of the Convention on the Grant of European Patents, done at Munich on 5 October 1973, known as the “European Patent Convention”, in application of Article 39 of this Convention, as well as the sums collected by the Institute on behalf of recipient organisations and competent third-party authorities in the context of its mission as the single body mentioned in Article L. 123-33 of the French Commercial Code are not included in the revenue to which the ceiling mentioned in the first paragraph of this article applies.
The Institute’s revenue also includes ancillary revenue.
Control of the implementation of the Institute’s budget is exercised a posteriori in accordance with procedures laid down by decree in the Council of State.
