Article L4125-3-1 of the French Public Health Code

The duties of a member of a departmental, regional or inter-regional council or of the national council of the Ordre are carried out on a voluntary basis.

However, the president and members of the executive committee of a departmental, regional or inter-regional council or of the national council of the ordre may receive an allowance.

The members of a departmental, regional or inter-regional council or of the national council may also receive allowances.

The councils reimburse their members’ travel expenses under the conditions and within the limits set by the national council.

The procedures for awarding the allowances referred to in the second and third paragraphs are laid down by decree.

The lump-sum amounts of these allowances shall be made public by the National Council.

Les fonctions de membre d’un conseil départemental, régional, interrégional ou du conseil national de l’ordre sont exercées à titre bénévole.

Toutefois, le président et les membres du bureau d’un conseil départemental, régional, interrégional ou du conseil national de l’ordre peuvent bénéficier d’une indemnité.

Les membres d’un conseil départemental, régional, interrégional ou du conseil national peuvent également percevoir des indemnités.

Les conseils remboursent à leurs membres leurs frais de déplacement dans les conditions et limites fixées par le conseil national.

Les modalités d’attribution des indemnités mentionnées aux deuxième et troisième alinéas sont fixées par décret.

Les montants forfaitaires de ces indemnités sont rendus publics par le Conseil national.
