Each year, the commission responsible for auditing the accounts and financial investments of the councils, which is attached to the National Council of the Association, must be provided with all the accounts and the provisional budget of the councils.
It must be consulted by the Conseil national de l’ordre before setting the fees provided for in article L. 4122-2.
The audit committee’s report on the accounts of the councils and on the setting of fees is published in the Official Bulletin of the National Council of the Order.
The members of the commission are appointed by the National Council from outside its executive committee. The committee may call on any services and technical expertise from outside the Ordre’s Council that it deems necessary.
The duties of the chairman of the commission for auditing the accounts and financial investments of the Conseil national de l’ordre des médecins are incompatible with any executive duties within the councils.
