Article L4133-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

In the event of a vacancy for a member of the standing committee other than the chair, the regional council may decide to complete the standing committee. The vacancy or vacancies shall then be filled in accordance with the procedure set out in the second and third paragraphs of article L. 4133-5. In the absence of agreement, the members of the Standing Committee other than the President shall be replaced in their entirety under the conditions laid down in the fourth and fifth paragraphs of article L. 4133-5.

En cas de vacance de siège de membre de la commission permanente autre que le président, le conseil régional peut décider de compléter la commission permanente. La ou les vacances sont alors pourvues selon la procédure prévue aux deuxième et troisième alinéas de l’article L. 4133-5. A défaut d’accord, il est procédé au renouvellement intégral des membres de la commission permanente autres que le président dans les conditions prévues aux quatrième et cinquième alinéas de l’article L. 4133-5.
