Article L414-1 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The agents mentioned in article L. 411-1 who observe one of the breaches mentioned in article L. 421-1 draw up a report. This report is sent to the interested party by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

From the date of notification of the report, the interested party has a period of fifteen clear days to submit their observations to the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

The letter notifying the report must, on pain of nullity, state the period granted to the interested party to submit their observations.

Article L414-1

Les agents mentionnés à l’article L. 411-1 qui constatent l’un des manquements mentionnés à l’article L. 421-1 en dressent procès-verbal. Ce procès-verbal est notifié par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception à l’intéressé.

A compter de la notification du procès-verbal, l’intéressé dispose d’un délai de quinze jours francs pour présenter ses observations au Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception.

La lettre de notification du procès-verbal doit, à peine de nullité, rappeler le délai accordé à l’intéressé pour présenter ses observations.
