The practice of dentistry involves the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of congenital or acquired diseases, real or assumed, of the mouth, teeth, maxillae and associated tissues, in compliance with the procedures laid down by the code of ethics of the profession referred to in article L. 4127-1.
