Article L421-30 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreign national residing outside the European Union who comes to France, under the provisions of 2° of article L. 1262-1 of the Labour Code, to complete an internship in an establishment or company in the group that employs him or her, will be issued a temporary residence permit bearing the wording “ICT intern” if he or she can prove that he or she has worked for the group for at least six months, has sufficient means of support and has a higher education diploma. After a cumulative period of residence of six months outside the European Union, this card may be issued to a foreign national who comes to undertake a new work placement.

Article L421-30

L’étranger résidant hors de l’Union européenne qui vient en France, dans le cadre des dispositions du 2° de l’article L. 1262-1 du code du travail, effectuer un stage dans un établissement ou une entreprise du groupe qui l’emploie, se voit délivrer une carte de séjour temporaire portant la mention ” stagiaire ICT ” s’il justifie d’une ancienneté d’au moins six mois au sein de ce groupe, de moyens d’existence suffisants et d’un diplôme de l’enseignement supérieur.
Cette carte n’est pas renouvelable.
Par dérogation à l’article L. 414-10, elle n’autorise pas l’exercice d’une activité professionnelle salariée.
Après une période de séjour de six mois cumulés hors de l’Union européenne, cette carte peut être délivrée à l’étranger qui vient effectuer un nouveau stage.
