No person may practise the profession of pharmacist unless he offers every guarantee of professional morality and meets the following conditions:
1° They hold a diploma, certificate or other qualification mentioned in articles L. 4221-2 to L. 4221-5 ;
2° Be a French national, an Andorran citizen, a national of a Member State of the European Union or a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, or a national of a country in which French nationals may practise pharmacy if they hold a diploma entitling the nationals of that country to do so;
3° Be registered with the Ordre des pharmaciens.
Pharmacists who hold a diploma, certificate or other qualification mentioned in article L. 4221-2 are exempt from the nationality requirement set out in 2°.
