Article L4233-1 of the French Public Health Code

The various councils of the Ordre national des pharmaciens have legal personality. They are represented by their president in all civil acts.

They authorise their president to take legal action.

They may, before all courts, exercise all the rights reserved to civil parties in relation to acts directly or indirectly prejudicial to the collective interests of the pharmaceutical profession, including in the case of threats or violence committed because of membership of this profession.

Les différents conseils de l’ordre national des pharmaciens sont dotés de la personnalité civile. Ils sont représentés par leur président dans tous les actes de la vie civile.

Ils autorisent leur président à ester en justice.

Ils peuvent, devant toutes les juridictions, exercer tous les droits réservés à la partie civile relativement aux faits portant un préjudice direct ou indirect à l’intérêt collectif de la profession pharmaceutique, y compris en cas de menaces ou de violences commises en raison de l’appartenance à cette profession.
