Title III: Organisation of the profession of pharmacist

The purpose of the Ordre National des Pharmaciens is: 1° To ensure compliance with professional duties ; 2° To defend the honour and independence of the profession; 3° To ensure the competence of pharmacists; 4° Contributing to the promotion of public health and the quality of care, in particular the safety of professional acts. The Ordre National des Pharmaciens groups together pharmacists practising their profession in France.

The Conseil national de l’ordre des pharmaciens defends the legality and morality of the profession. It coordinates the activities of the central councils of the different sections of the order and acts as an arbitrator between the different branches of the profession.
