Article L4231-1 of the French Public Health Code

The purpose of the Ordre National des Pharmaciens is: 1° To ensure compliance with professional duties ; 2° To defend the honour and independence of the profession; 3° To ensure the competence of pharmacists; 4° Contributing to the promotion of public health and the quality of care, in particular the safety of professional acts. The Ordre National des Pharmaciens groups together pharmacists practising their profession in France.
