A foreign national who lodges a complaint against a person whom he or she accuses of having committed acts against him or her constituting the offences of trafficking in human beings or procuring, as referred to in articles 225-4-1 to 225-4-6 and 225-5 to 225-10 of the Criminal Code, or who testifies in criminal proceedings concerning a person prosecuted for these same offences, will be issued with a one-year temporary residence permit marked “private and family life”, provided that he or she has severed all ties with this person. The condition set out in article L. 412-1 does not apply.
It is renewed for the duration of the criminal proceedings, provided that the conditions for its issue continue to be met.
