Article L4251-3 of the French Public Health Code

I.- Subject to the provisions of article L. 4061-1, persons who have obtained the evidence of formal qualifications or authorisation required to practise the profession of medical physicist, prior to their entry into the profession, as well as those who, not practising, obtained their evidence of formal qualifications less than three years ago, are required to register with the service or body designated for this purpose by the Minister responsible for health.

The registration of these persons is carried out after verification of the supporting documents attesting to their identity and their training title or authorisation. They must inform the same department or body of any change of residence or professional situation.

The registration procedure is free of charge.

II – For persons who have practised as medical physicists, the obligation to provide information regarding a change of residence is maintained for a period of three years from the date of cessation of their activity.

I.-Sous réserve des dispositions de l’article L. 4061-1, sont tenues de se faire enregistrer auprès du service ou de l’organisme désigné à cette fin par le ministre chargé de la santé les personnes ayant obtenu un titre de formation ou une autorisation requis pour l’exercice de la profession de physicien médical, avant leur entrée dans la profession, ainsi que celles qui, ne l’exerçant pas, ont obtenu leur titre de formation depuis moins de trois ans.


L’enregistrement de ces personnes est réalisé après vérification des pièces justificatives attestant de leur identité et de leur titre de formation ou de leur autorisation. Elles informent le même service ou organisme de tout changement de résidence ou de situation professionnelle.


La procédure d’enregistrement est sans frais.


II.-Pour les personnes ayant exercé la profession de physicien médical, l’obligation d’information relative au changement de résidence est maintenue pendant une période de trois ans à compter de la cessation de leur activité.
