Article L434-7 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreign national who makes an application is authorised to be joined under family reunification if he or she meets the following conditions:
1° He or she provides evidence of stable and sufficient resources to meet the needs of his or her family;
2° He or she has, or will have on the date of arrival of his or her family in France, accommodation considered normal for a comparable family living in the same geographical area;
3° He or she complies with the essential principles which, in accordance with the laws of the Republic, govern family life in France, the host country.

Article L434-7

L’étranger qui en fait la demande est autorisé à être rejoint au titre du regroupement familial s’il remplit les conditions suivantes :
1° Il justifie de ressources stables et suffisantes pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille ;
2° Il dispose ou disposera à la date d’arrivée de sa famille en France d’un logement considéré comme normal pour une famille comparable vivant dans la même région géographique ;
3° Il se conforme aux principes essentiels qui, conformément aux lois de la République, régissent la vie familiale en France, pays d’accueil.
