Article L441-4 of the French Insurance Code

The insurance company may not demand payment of premiums or contributions. If payment of premiums or contributions ceases, the agreement may provide for forfeiture of vested rights or a reduction in the number of annuity units registered in the member’s account under conditions laid down by decree.
