Article L442-1 of the French Insurance Code

Under the conditions laid down in Chapter I of Title VI of Book III of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code, the National Agricultural Risk Management Fund contributes to the development of insurance against agricultural risks and to compensation for damage that may be compensated under Articles L. 361-4-1 and L. 361-5 of the same code and for economic losses linked to the outbreak of an animal or plant disease or an environmental incident.

Article L442-1

Dans les conditions prévues au chapitre Ier du titre VI du livre III du code rural et de la pêche maritime, le Fonds national de gestion des risques en agriculture contribue au développement des assurances contre les risques agricoles ainsi qu’à l’indemnisation des dommages susceptibles d’être indemnisés au titre des articles L. 361-4-1 et L. 361-5 du même code et des pertes économiques liées à l’apparition d’un foyer de maladie animale ou végétale ou d’un incident environnemental.
