Article L4431-3 of the French Public Health Code

Without prejudice to the provisions of international agreements and article L. 4111-3, a doctor, dental surgeon or midwife temporarily practising in the French Southern and Antarctic Territories must be duly registered with the professional association of the department, territorial collectivity or overseas territory in which he/she usually carries out his/her activity.

Sans préjudice des dispositions des conventions internationales et de l’article L. 4111-3, le médecin, le chirurgien-dentiste ou la sage-femme exerçant temporairement son activité dans le territoire des Terres australes et antarctiques françaises doit être régulièrement inscrit au conseil de l’ordre du département, de la collectivité territoriale ou du territoire d’outre-mer dans lequel il exerce habituellement son activité.
