The regional development plan sets out the territory’s strategy for adapting to climate change and improving air quality.
As such, it sets out, at its level:
1° Guidelines for mitigating and adapting to climate change in accordance with the commitment made by France in Article L. 100-4 of the Energy Code;
> 2° Guidelines for preventing or adapting to climate change in accordance with the commitment made by France in Article L. 100-4 of the Energy Code
2° Guidelines for preventing or reducing air pollution or mitigating its effects, in order to achieve the air quality standards and the multiannual objective for reducing the average annual daily concentrations of atmospheric particles mentioned in article L. 221-1 of the Environment Code.
The multiannual energy programme (MEEP) will be presented to the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers.
The multi-annual energy programme defined in article L. 141-5 of the Energy Code takes the place of the energy section provided for in 3° of article L. 222-1 of the Environment Code.
