Article L511-23 of the French Consumer Code

The agents mentioned in articles L. 1421-1 and L. 1435-7 of the Public Health Code who are qualified doctors or pharmacists are authorised to investigate and establish breaches of the provisions of Chapter III of Title III of Book IV and the texts adopted for its application, as well as Article L. 521-1, Section 2 of Chapter I of Title II and Section 1 of Chapter I of Title III of this Book.

To this end, they have the powers defined in Section 1 and subsections 1 to 8 of Section 2 of Chapter II of this Title and may implement the measures provided for in Article L. 521-1 as well as Section 2 of Chapter I of Title II.

Article L511-23

Les agents mentionnés aux articles L. 1421-1 et L. 1435-7 du code de la santé publique ayant la qualité de médecin ou de pharmacien sont habilités à procéder à la recherche et à la constatation des infractions aux dispositions du chapitre III du titre III du livre IV et des textes pris pour son application ainsi qu’à l’article L. 521-1, à la section 2 du chapitre Ier du titre II et à la section 1 du chapitre Ier du titre III du présent livre.

Ils disposent à cet effet des pouvoirs définis à la section 1 et aux sous-sections 1 à 8 de la section 2 du chapitre II du présent titre et peuvent mettre en œuvre les mesures prévues à l’article L. 521-1 ainsi qu’à la section 2 du chapitre Ier du titre II.
