I.-Enforcement of the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 of the European Parliament and of the Council 11 December 2018 on veterinary medicinal products, of this Title, and of the provisions adopted for their application, is carried out concurrently by:
1° Inspectors from the Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire de l’alimentation, de l’environnement et du travail in its area of competence ;
2° The inspectors mentioned in Article L. 5127-1 ;
3° The veterinarians mentioned in Article L. 206-3 of the Rural and Maritime Fishing Code;
4° Competition, consumer affairs and fraud control officers, who have the powers provided for in I of article L. 511-22 of the Consumer Code.
The agents mentioned in 1° and 3° of this article act in accordance with articles L. 1421-1, L. 1421-2, L. 1421-2-1, L. 1421-3 and L. 5127-2.
The consignment provided for in Article L. 5127-2 may also relate to products that present or are likely to present a danger to animal health. Article L. 5425-1 is applicable in the event of the placing on the market or use of products consigned in application of this article.
II – Control of the application of the provisions relating to the acquisition, possession, prescription and supply of veterinary medicinal products, for organisations under the authority or supervision of the Minister of Defence and for military units under the authority of the Minister of the Interior, is carried out by army practitioners responsible for control and inspection missions.
