Article L5224-1 of the French Labour Code

Failure to comply with the provisions of article L. 5221-4 is punishable by a fine of €3,000.

The court may also impose the following additional penalties:

1° A ban on working as a temporary employment agency for up to ten years ;

2° Posting of the judgment at the expense of the convicted person in accordance with the conditions set out in article 131-35 of the Criminal Code and its publication, in full or in excerpts, in the newspapers designated by the convicted person. These costs may not exceed the maximum amount of the fine incurred.

Le fait de méconnaître les dispositions de l’article L. 5221-4 est puni d’une amende de 3 000 Euros.

La juridiction peut également prononcer à titre de peines complémentaires :

1° L’interdiction d’exercer l’activité d’entrepreneur de travail temporaire pour une durée de dix ans au plus ;

2° L’affichage du jugement aux frais de la personne condamnée dans les conditions prévues à l’article 131-35 du code pénal et son insertion, intégrale ou par extraits, dans les journaux qu’elle désigne. Ces frais ne peuvent excéder le montant maximum de l’amende encourue.
