Article L5231-4 of the French Public Health Code

In order to limit excessive exposure of children, the distribution, whether in return for payment or free of charge, of objects containing radio equipment specifically intended for use by children under the age of six may be prohibited by order of the Minister for Health.

La distribution à titre onéreux ou gratuit d’objets contenant un équipement radioélectrique dont l’usage est spécifiquement dédié aux enfants de moins de six ans peut être interdite par arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé, afin de limiter l’exposition excessive des enfants.
