Young people who set up or take over a profit-making business whose head office and main establishment are located in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, La Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin or Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and which they effectively manage receive initiative-jeune project aid.

L’aide au projet initiative-jeune bénéficie aux jeunes qui créent ou reprennent une entreprise à but lucratif dont le siège et l’établissement principal sont situés en Guadeloupe, en Guyane, en Martinique, à Mayotte, à La Réunion, à Saint-Barthélemy, à Saint-Martin ou à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon et dont ils assurent la direction effective.
