Article L562-3 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The decision of the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons to terminate refugee status or the benefit of subsidiary protection is notified in writing to the person concerned, by any means guaranteeing confidentiality and personal receipt of this notification. It must state the reasons in fact and in law and specify the appeal procedures and deadlines.

La décision de l’Office français de protection des réfugiés et apatrides de mettre fin au statut de réfugié ou au bénéfice de la protection subsidiaire est notifiée par écrit à la personne concernée, par tout moyen garantissant la confidentialité et la réception personnelle de cette notification. Elle est motivée en fait et en droit et précise les voies et délais de recours.
