Article L573-5 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

When the examination of the asylum application falls within the jurisdiction of another European State, payment of the asylum seeker’s allowance provided for in article L. 553-1 ceases on the date of transfer to that State.

Lorsque l’examen de la demande d’asile relève de la compétence d’un autre Etat européen le versement de l’allocation pour demandeur d’asile prévue à l’article L. 553-1 prend fin à la date du transfert vers cet Etat.
