Article L5813-2 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For the application of article L. 5211-1 to the council of the urban community or metropolitan area, the references made to Chapter I of Title II of Book I of Part Two shall be construed as referring to the provisions of Title IV of Book V of Part Two and the other local laws maintained in force.
