Article L5842-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I.-The provisions of Section 5 of Chapter I of Title I of Book II of Part Five mentioned in the left-hand column of the table below shall apply in French Polynesia in the wording indicated in the right-hand column of the same table, subject to the adaptations provided for from II to V.

II. – For the application of article L. 5211-16, after the words: “life annuity” are added the words: “under the conditions set by the regulations applicable locally,”.

II bis.-For the application of article L. 5211-17-2, in the second paragraph, the words: “in the second to fifth paragraphs” are replaced by the words: “in the second, fourth and fifth paragraphs”.

III. – For the application of Article L. 5211-18, the words: “Without prejudice to the provisions of Article L. 5215-40,” and the words:”, L. 5215-1″ are deleted.

IV. – For the application of Article L. 5211-19, the words: “, except in the case of an urban community” are deleted.

I.-Les dispositions de la section 5 du chapitre Ier du titre Ier du livre II de la cinquième partie mentionnées dans la colonne de gauche du tableau ci-après sont applicables en Polynésie française dans leur rédaction indiquée dans la colonne de droite du même tableau, sous réserve des adaptations prévues du II au V.

II. – Pour l’application de l’article L. 5211-16, après les mots : ” rente viagère ” sont ajoutés les mots : ” dans les conditions fixées par la réglementation applicable localement, “.

II bis.-Pour l’application de l’article L. 5211-17-2, au deuxième alinéa, les mots : “ aux deuxième à cinquième alinéas ” sont remplacés par les mots : “ aux deuxième, quatrième et cinquième alinéas ”.

III. – Pour l’application de l’article L. 5211-18, les mots : ” Sans préjudice des dispositions de l’article L. 5215-40, ” et les mots : “, L. 5215-1 ” sont supprimés.

IV. – Pour l’application de l’article L. 5211-19, les mots : “, sauf s’il s’agit d’une communauté urbaine ” sont supprimés.
