Article L6111-1-1 of the French Public Health Code

As part of the implementation of the regional health project, health establishments set up health care access services, including orthogenetic services, adapted to people in precarious situations, with the aim of facilitating their access to the health system and supporting them in the steps required to exercise their rights. To this end, they enter into agreements with the State providing, where necessary, for the payment of outpatient consultations, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and treatments provided free of charge to these people.

Dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre du projet régional de santé, les établissements de santé mettent en place des permanences d’accès aux soins de santé, qui comprennent notamment des permanences d’orthogénie, adaptées aux personnes en situation de précarité, visant à faciliter leur accès au système de santé et à les accompagner dans les démarches nécessaires à la mise en œuvre de leurs droits. A cet effet, ils concluent avec l’Etat des conventions prévoyant, en cas de nécessité, la prise en charge des consultations externes, des actes diagnostiques et thérapeutiques ainsi que des traitements qui sont délivrés gratuitement à ces personnes.
