Article L6112-3 of the French Labour Code

Disabled persons and persons treated as such, as referred to in article L. 5212-13, have access to all the training schemes provided for in this section in accordance with the principle of equal treatment, by taking appropriate measures.

They shall benefit, where appropriate, from specific training measures designed to enable them to enter or re-enter the workforce and remain in employment, to promote the development of their skills and access to the various levels of professional qualification and to contribute to economic and cultural development and social advancement.

The national strategy defined in article L. 6111-1 includes a section devoted to access to and development of vocational training for people with disabilities.

Les personnes handicapées et assimilées, mentionnées à l’article L. 5212-13, ont accès à l’ensemble des dispositifs de formation prévus dans la présente partie dans le respect du principe d’égalité de traitement, en prenant les mesures appropriées.

Elles bénéficient, le cas échéant, d’actions spécifiques de formation ayant pour objet de permettre leur insertion ou leur réinsertion professionnelle ainsi que leur maintien dans l’emploi, de favoriser le développement de leurs compétences et l’accès aux différents niveaux de la qualification professionnelle et de contribuer au développement économique et culturel et à la promotion sociale.

La stratégie nationale définie à l’article L. 6111-1 comporte un volet consacré à l’accès et au développement de la formation professionnelle des personnes en situation de handicap.
