Within the framework of the missions entrusted to them and under the conditions defined by regulation, public or private not-for-profit health establishments may take part in cooperative actions, including international cooperation, with persons governed by public or private law. To carry out these actions, they may sign agreements, participate in public interest groups, economic interest groups or health cooperation groups or set up inter-hospital medical federations.
For international cooperation initiatives, public or private not-for-profit health establishments may also sign agreements with public or private entities, in compliance with the international commitments entered into by the French State.
