Article L614-4 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Where the decision imposing an obligation to leave French territory taken pursuant to 3°, 5° or 6° of article L. 611-1 is accompanied by a deadline for voluntary departure, the matter shall be referred to the administrative court within thirty days of notification of the decision.
The foreign national may apply for legal aid at the latest when lodging his application for annulment.
The administrative court shall rule within three months of referral.

Lorsque la décision portant obligation de quitter le territoire français prise en application des 3°, 5° ou 6° de l’article L. 611-1 est assortie d’un délai de départ volontaire, le tribunal administratif est saisi dans le délai de trente jours suivant la notification de la décision.
L’étranger peut demander le bénéfice de l’aide juridictionnelle au plus tard lors de l’introduction de sa requête en annulation.
Le tribunal administratif statue dans un délai de trois mois à compter de sa saisine.
