Article L623-29 of the French Consumer Code

Group membership does not preclude the right to take action under ordinary law to obtain compensation for losses not falling within the scope defined by the judge’s decision referred to in article L. 623-4 or an agreement approved pursuant to article L. 623-23.

L’adhésion au groupe ne fait pas obstacle au droit d’agir selon les voies de droit commun pour obtenir la réparation des préjudices n’entrant pas dans le champ défini par la décision du juge mentionnée à l’article L. 623-4 ou d’un accord homologué en application de l’article L. 623-23.
