The mission of French Guiana’s territorial health promotion centre is to ensure that reforms to the health and care system are geared towards the specific needs of the territorial collectivity.
The territorial centre for the promotion of health is made up, on the one hand, of health professionals, representatives of social security and the administration as well as local bodies in charge of health promotion, chosen according to a procedure and arrangements laid down by the assembly of French Guyana and, on the other hand, at least half of its members are councillors at the assembly of French Guyana.
