Article L711-22 of the French Commercial code

At the initiative of the regional chamber of commerce and industry or on its own initiative, a territorial chamber of commerce and industry existing in a region other than the Ile-de-France region or an overseas region may, within the framework of the master plan referred to in Article L. 711-8, be attached to its regional chamber of commerce and industry as a local chamber of commerce and industry that does not have the legal status of a public institution.

A l’initiative de la chambre de commerce et d’industrie de région ou à sa propre initiative, une chambre de commerce et d’industrie territoriale existant dans une région autre que la région Ile-de-France ou une région d’outre-mer peut, dans le cadre du schéma directeur mentionné à l’article L. 711-8, être rattachée à sa chambre de commerce et d’industrie de région en tant que chambre de commerce et d’industrie locale ne disposant pas du statut juridique d’établissement public.
