Article L712-5 of the French Consumer Code

The members of the commission, as well as any person who participates in its work or is called upon to deal with the overindebtedness situation, are required not to divulge to third parties any information of which they have become aware in the context of the procedure instituted by this book, on pain of the penalties provided for in article 226-13 of the Penal Code.

Les membres de la commission, ainsi que toute personne qui participe à ses travaux ou est appelée au traitement de la situation de surendettement, sont tenus de ne pas divulguer à des tiers les informations dont ils ont eu connaissance dans le cadre de la procédure instituée par le présent livre, sous peine des sanctions prévues à l’article 226-13 du code pénal.
