Article L7122-19 of the French Labour Code

The following may engage in the activity of “entrepreneur de spectacles vivants”, up to an annual ceiling of performances, without being subject to the declaration obligations mentioned in articles L. 7122-3 and L. 7122-6:

1° Any person whose principal activity or purpose is not the operation of venues, or the production or broadcasting of shows;

2° Groups of volunteer amateur artists who occasionally call upon the services of one or more paid performing artists.

Article L7122-19

Peuvent exercer l’activité d’entrepreneur de spectacles vivants, dans la limite d’un plafond annuel de représentations, sans être soumis aux obligations de déclaration mentionnées aux articles L. 7122-3 et L. 7122-6 :

1° Toute personne qui n’a pas pour activité principale ou pour objet l’exploitation de lieux de spectacles, la production ou la diffusion de spectacles ;

2° Les groupements d’artistes amateurs bénévoles faisant occasionnellement appel à un ou plusieurs artistes du spectacle percevant une rémunération.
