Article L7124-23 of the French Labour Code

Employing a minor over the age of thirteen, with a view to carrying out the activities defined in article L. 7124-1, without first obtaining his or her written approval, in disregard of the provisions of article L. 7124-2, is punishable by five years’ imprisonment and a fine of 75,000 euros.

Le fait d’employer un mineur de plus de treize ans, en vue d’exercer les activités définies à l’article L. 7124-1, sans avoir préalablement recueilli son avis favorable écrit, en méconnaissance des dispositions de l’article L. 7124-2, est puni d’un emprisonnement de cinq ans et d’une amende de 75 000 euros.
