At the end of his or her term of office, the President of the Assembly of French Guyana or any Vice-President delegated by him or her who, in order to carry out his or her term of office, has ceased his or her salaried professional activity is entitled, at his or her request, to professional training and a skills assessment under the conditions set out in Part Six of the Labour Code.
When the person concerned applies for the training leave provided for in articles L. 6322-1 to L. 6322-3 of the same code as well as the skills assessment leave provided for in article L. 6322-42 of the said code, the time spent as a local representative is assimilated to the periods of activity required for access to this leave.
