Article L7125-19 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The maximum allowances voted by the Assembly of French Guiana for the actual performance of the duties of councillor to the Assembly of French Guiana are determined by applying to the reference term mentioned in Article L. 7125-17 the rate of 48%.

The rules of procedure shall determine the conditions under which the amount of the monthly allowances allocated to the councillors of the Assembly of French Guyana shall be reduced according to their actual attendance at plenary sessions, meetings of the committees of which they are members and meetings of the bodies in which they represent the territorial collectivity of French Guyana. This reduction may not be less than 20% of these allowances per unjustified absence from plenary sessions. It may not, in total, exceed half of the maximum monthly allowance that may be allocated to each of the councillors to the Assembly of French Guyana pursuant to this article.

Les indemnités maximales votées par l’assemblée de Guyane pour l’exercice effectif des fonctions de conseiller à l’assemblée de Guyane sont déterminées en appliquant au terme de référence mentionné à l’article L. 7125-17 le taux de 48 %.

Le règlement intérieur détermine les conditions dans lesquelles est réduit le montant des indemnités mensuelles allouées aux conseillers à l’assemblée de Guyane en fonction de leur participation effective aux séances plénières, aux réunions des commissions dont ils sont membres et aux réunions des organismes dans lesquels ils représentent la collectivité territoriale de Guyane. Cette réduction ne peut être inférieure à 20 % de ces indemnités par absence non justifiée aux séances plénières. Elle ne saurait, au total, dépasser la moitié de l’indemnité maximale mensuelle pouvant être allouée à chacun des conseillers à l’assemblée de Guyane en application du présent article.
