Article L742-2 of the French Labour Code

The provisions of Title III of Book 1 relating to collective labour agreements or contracts, of Title IV (Chapter 1) of the same Book 1 relating to the minimum growth wage and of Title II of Book V relating to collective labour disputes are applicable to merchant navy seagoing personnel under the conditions laid down by a decree in Council of State issued on the report of the Minister responsible for the merchant navy. The powers conferred by the aforementioned provisions on the Minister for Labour are exercised, with regard to this personnel, by the Minister for the Merchant Navy, in agreement with the Minister for Labour.

Article L742-2

Les dispositions du titre III du livre 1er relatives aux conventions ou accords collectifs de travail, du titre IV (chap. 1er) du même livre 1er, relatives au salaire minimum de croissance et du titre II du livre V relatives aux conflits collectifs du travail sont applicables au personnel navigant de la marine marchande dans les conditions fixées par un décret en Conseil d’Etat pris sur le rapport du ministre chargé de la marine marchande. Les attributions conférées par lesdites dispositions au ministre du travail sont exercées, en ce qui concerne ce personnel, par le ministre chargé de la marine marchande, en accord avec le ministre chargé du travail.
