Article L761-4 of the French Commercial code

A reference perimeter may be established around the market of national interest by decree.

This decree determines the location of the market of national interest.

The prefect may remove in advance or reduce the reference perimeter thus established.

The modification of the enclosure of a market of national interest is decided by the market manager. When the market is surrounded by a reference perimeter, the market manager may not extend or transfer its enclosure outside this perimeter.

Un périmètre de référence peut être institué autour du marché d’intérêt national par décret.

Ce décret détermine l’implantation du marché d’intérêt national.

Le préfet peut supprimer de façon anticipée ou réduire le périmètre de référence ainsi institué.

La modification de l’enceinte d’un marché d’intérêt national est décidée par le gestionnaire du marché. Quand le marché est entouré d’un périmètre de référence, le gestionnaire du marché ne peut pas étendre ou transférer son enceinte à l’extérieur de ce périmètre.
