Article L811-1 of the French Consumer Code

Consumer protection associations may be approved after receiving the opinion of the public prosecutor.
The conditions under which these associations may be approved, taking into account their representativeness at national or local level, as well as the conditions under which this approval may be withdrawn, shall be laid down by decree.

Les associations de défense des consommateurs peuvent être agréées après avis du ministère public.
Les conditions dans lesquelles ces associations peuvent être agréées compte tenu de leur représentativité sur le plan national ou local ainsi que les conditions de retrait de cet agrément sont fixées par décret.
