Article L821-3 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreigner who fails to present the competent administrative authority with the travel documents required to enforce a decision refusing entry into France or, in the absence of such documents, fails to provide the information required to enforce the decision or provides inaccurate information about his or her identity, shall be liable to three years’ imprisonment.
A foreigner convicted under this article shall be liable to a supplementary penalty of ten years’ ban from French territory.

Article L821-3

Est puni de trois ans d’emprisonnement le fait, pour un étranger, de ne pas présenter à l’autorité administrative compétente les documents de voyage permettant l’exécution d’une décision de refus d’entrée en France ou, à défaut de ceux-ci, de ne pas communiquer les renseignements permettant cette exécution ou de communiquer des renseignements inexacts sur son identité.
L’étranger condamné en application du présent article encourt la peine complémentaire de dix ans d’interdiction du territoire français.
