Article L823-13 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Physical persons convicted under articles L. 823-11 or L. 823-12 are liable to the following additional penalties:
1° A residence ban for a maximum of five years;
2° A ban, for a maximum of five years, on carrying out the professional or social activity in connection with which the offence was committed, subject to the reservations mentioned in article 131-27 of the Criminal Code.

Les personnes physiques condamnées en application des articles L. 823-11 ou L. 823-12 encourent les peines complémentaires suivantes :
1° L’interdiction de séjour pour une durée de cinq ans au plus ;
2° L’interdiction, pour une durée de cinq ans au plus, d’exercer l’activité professionnelle ou sociale à l’occasion de laquelle l’infraction a été commise, sous les réserves mentionnées à l’article 131-27 du code pénal.
