Article L823-15 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Foreign nationals convicted under articles L. 823-11 or L. 823-12 may be banned from French territory:
1° For up to ten years, in the event of conviction under article L. 823-11;
2° Permanently, in the event of conviction under article L. 823-12.

Les étrangers condamnés en application des articles L. 823-11 ou L. 823-12 encourent l’interdiction du territoire français :
1° Pour une durée de dix ans au plus, en cas de condamnation en application de l’article L. 823-11 ;
2° A titre définitif, en cas de condamnation en application de l’article L. 823-12.
