Article L824-12 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

It is punishable by three years’ imprisonment for a foreigner to re-enter France without authorisation after having been the subject of a decision to surrender to the authorities of another State, a ban on movement on French territory or a transfer decision provided for in article L. 572-1.
A foreigner convicted under this article is liable to the additional penalty of three years’ ban from French territory.

Article L824-12

Est puni de trois ans d’emprisonnement le fait, pour un étranger, de pénétrer de nouveau sans autorisation en France après avoir fait l’objet d’une décision de remise aux autorités d’un autre État, d’une interdiction de circulation sur le territoire français ou d’une décision de transfert prévue à l’article L. 572-1.
L’étranger condamné en application du présent article encourt la peine complémentaire de trois ans d’interdiction du territoire français.
