Article LO6321-11 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Territorial Council is also convened at the request of:

a) The Executive Council;

b) A quarter of the members of the Territorial Council on a set agenda, for a period that may not exceed two days. The same Territorial Councillor may not submit more than one request for a meeting per quarter;

c) The representative of the State.

In exceptional circumstances, the Territorial Council may be convened by decree.

Le conseil territorial est également réuni à la demande :

a) Du conseil exécutif ;

b) Du quart des membres du conseil territorial sur un ordre du jour déterminé, pour une durée qui ne peut excéder deux jours. Un même conseiller territorial ne peut présenter plus d’une demande de réunion par trimestre ;

c) Du représentant de l’Etat.

En cas de circonstances exceptionnelles, le conseil territorial peut être réuni par décret.
