Article LO6353-3 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The individual powers of the Executive Councillors are exercised within the framework of decisions taken by the Executive Council. Each Executive Councillor is responsible to the Executive Council for the management of the affairs and, where applicable, the operation of the departments falling within the administrative sector for which he is responsible pursuant to Article LO 6352-3. It keeps the Executive Board regularly informed.

Les attributions individuelles des conseillers exécutifs s’exercent dans le cadre des décisions prises par le conseil exécutif. Chaque conseiller exécutif est responsable devant le conseil exécutif de la gestion des affaires et, le cas échéant, du fonctionnement des services relevant du secteur administratif dont il est chargé en application de l’article LO 6352-3. Il tient le conseil exécutif régulièrement informé.
