Article LO6431-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The territorial council is the deliberative assembly of the local authority.

The composition of the territorial council and the term of office of the territorial councillors are governed by Title IV of Book VI of the Electoral Code.

The president of the territorial council and the territorial councillors are subject, under the same conditions, to the declaration obligations applicable to the persons mentioned, respectively, in 2° and 3° of I of Article 11 of Law no. 2013-907 of 11 October 2013 on transparency in public life.

Le conseil territorial est l’assemblée délibérante de la collectivité.

La composition du conseil territorial et la durée du mandat des conseillers territoriaux sont régies par le titre IV du livre VI du code électoral.

Le président du conseil territorial et les conseillers territoriaux sont soumis, dans les mêmes conditions, aux obligations de déclaration applicables aux personnes mentionnées, respectivement, aux 2° et 3° du I de l’article 11 de la loi n° 2013-907 du 11 octobre 2013 relative à la transparence de la vie publique.
